Now it is time to set in the dowel pins. |
|
|
Clean the holes. |
|
|
These are standard 1/4" x 1" dowel pins. |
|
|
Using a belt sander we flatten one side a little, but not
the whole thing, just the depth of the hole plus a little.

|
Locktite in the hole.
|
|
|
Stuff the pin in the hole. |
|
|
Locktite will ooze out of the flattened side. |
|
|
Clean up the excess Locktite. |
|
|
Remove the fixture from the table. Get some grease in a can. |
|
|
Spray it in the liners you are going to use. |
|
|
Remove the fixture stops, flip the entire fixture over, and clamp it all
back down.
